DIGITAL SCRAPBOOKING
I created this website to give you great sites for "Digital Scrapbooking" and a look at pages I have created so far. I have recently fallen in love with digital scrapbooking. My friends have tried in the past to get me involved in traditional scrapbooking but to no avail. I have found a great software from Creative Memories called "Storybook Creator Plus." It is very easy to use and that is all I need - EASY!
As all my photos are digital and saved on the PC, DVDs or external media. Unless I want an 8x10 photo to put on the wall, I don't print any of them unless they're in a digital scrapbook. I've never been so happy as when they came out with digital cameras.
My first digital scrapbook was for my latest grand-daughter, Rylie Jean. It was my first attempt at creativity and I was pretty happy with it. I have learned that if the image within the software has a yellow "!", it's not going to print out very well. That happened with this book because my old camera was going bad and didn't take very good pictures. My new camera has been a blessing.
I have a FAVORITE SITES link and these are the best sites I've found to download freebies - background papers, embellishments, fonts/alphabets and some tutorials on digital scrapbooking. Some sites have InstaScraps (or page templates) which are pages already created just waiting for you to put your photos on it.
MY TRAVELS
Another passion of mine is traveling. I have been on 13 cruises and have 13 folders of pictures!! Yes, I go crazy taking pictures on my trips. I love cruising the Caribbean and going to the small islands - US Virgin Islands (St Thomas, St John), Aruba, Barbados and the Bahamas being my favorites. I've been to more but those stand out the most. I will be posting scrapbook pages as I start to create my travels in pictures.

I am a very avid MINNESOTA VIKINGS fan and have had season tickets to the home games for a total of 20 years. I have only missed about 5 games in all that time. It doesn't matter what players we have or who the coach is (except Bud Grant was the best), I will be at the games!
Second passion is NASCAR - I have been to 2 races (Brickyard 400 - Indianapolis) and my favorite team is Hendricks Motor Sports. But then the favorite driver is JEFF GORDON. I like both Jimmie and Casey and Jr is really starting to grow on me! But, in the end ... GO JEFF!
I hope to someday see races at Talledegha, Bristol, Martinsville and Darlington. I love the short tracks, especially when they're under the lights!
